As conservationists, many of us have great ideas about what steps our country should take to protect our air, land and water. But no matter how reasonable our goals may be, the bottom line is this: without leadership from our elected officials, our hopes stand little chance of becoming reality.
The Maine Conservation Voters works in a non-partisan manner to elect conservation champions who support strong protections for our water, air, wildlife and natural areas. Through our endorsement process, we select candidates that best represent pro-environment values and will make them a political priority.
